Submissions to ExpoImaging’s May 2018 Photo Contest will be accepted starting May 4, 2018 and ending May 21 at 5:00 PM Pacific Standard Time. The winning entry will be selected by June 1, 2018.
How to Enter:
To have your image(s) considered, you must do all of the following:
Multiple entries are allowed.
By submitting an entry, each contestant agrees to the rules of the contest and represents that he or she is at least 18 years old. ExpoImaging employees and their immediately family members are not eligible to enter.
To be eligible for this contest, a submitted photograph must have been taken using any Rogue Photographic Design product. By entering an image into this contest, the photographer submitting the image warrants that the submitted image was taken using a Rogue Photographic Design product.
This is a photo contest intended to judge photos which you have created and which you have the right to submit as your own work. Photos that violate or infringe others’ rights, including but not limited to copyright, trademarks or rights of publicity, are not eligible.
In order to enter photos in this contest, you must have created the image yourself, you must own the copyright in the image submitted, and you will indemnify ExpoImaging for any and all damages resulting from submitting photographs without the right to do so. By entering an image in this contest, you represent and warrant that the image is your original work, that you own the copyright in the image and that the image does not violate any other copyright or property right of another party.
ExpoImaging Non-Exclusive License to Use Your Submitted Image:
By entering this contest, you retain your copyright in your photograph. However, upon entry, you grant ExpoImaging a royalty-free, world-wide, perpetual, non-exclusive license to publicly display, distribute, reproduce and create derivative works of images you enter, in whole or in part, in any media now existing or later developed. This license will allow ExpoImaging to place contest images in subsequent social media posts, newsletters, or on a website in a contest image archive, for instance.
Any photograph reproduced will include a photographer credit where feasible.
ExpoImaging will not be required to pay any additional consideration or seek any additional approval in connection with these licensed uses.
Model Releases/Artistic Work Releases:
For photos containing a person, or people who are recognizable, you must have obtained a model release from every recognizable person, or for minors, the person's parent or guardian. You are responsible for any and all consequences resulting from the failure to obtain a model release or for errors of form or execution in any release obtained.
Entered images that show others' work, including but not limited to sculptures, paintings and other copyrightable works, may need to obtain a release and provide it upon request.
Judging and Selection of Winning Photograph:
Photo entries will be judged by members of the ExpoImaging team based on creativity and overall quality. Please do not contact us about the status of entries or judging.
The winning entry will be selected by June 1, 2018. ExpoImaging will notify the winner by reposting the winning image to ExpoImaging’s Instagram feed and by tagging the photographer of the winning image in that post.
Prize for Winning This Contest:
The winner, as selected by ExpoImaging under the terms of this contest, will receive one Loupedeck photo editing console. ExpoImaging will pay the cost of shipping the prize to the winner. The winner will provide ExpoImaging email contact and mailing information necessary for communication and shipping of the prize to the winner. ExpoImaging will ship the prize to the winner within seven days of receipt of the winner’s shipping information.
This contest is governed by United States law and the law of the State of California. ExpoImaging reserves the right to change and update these contest rules and terms without prior notice.
