Rogue Round Flash Gels ~ Ultimate Portrait Collection
Want to add drama and visual interest to your portraits? Colored lighting filters, or gels, transform ordinary backgrounds and accent lights into creative elements.
We've curated a collection of the most beautiful lighting filter colors and precision-cut them into 20 gel kits designed to work seamlessly with both round flash heads and rectangular speedlights—bringing studio-quality color control to your on-location work.
Ultimate Portrait Collection Includes: 20 gel colors (1x each color), storage pouch, quick reference guide. Includes brilliant blues, greens, purples, lavenders, pinks, reds, oranges, and yellows. There are no color correction gels in this collection.
Use with Rogue Flash Magnetic Light Modifiers
Using Rogue Gels requires two Rogue magnetic light modifiers (sold separately). Simply place your chosen gel between any two stackable Rogue modifiers—such as the Flash Gel Lens, Flash Grid 45, Flash Snoot, or Flash Diffuser Dome—then snap the stack onto your flash. The magnets hold everything securely in place for instant color control.

Portrait Gels for Portrait Photography
Colored lighting filters, or gels, are often used on accent or background lights to spice up an image with color. For example, attach a Smokey Pink gel to your rim light, Oklahoma Yellow to your fill light, or Deep Purple to your gridded background light to add mood or drama to your image.
Create stunning color gradients by using multiple flashes with different colored gels—for example, light your background with a beautiful red-to-blue gradient by gelling one background flash red and another blue.

Printed Specifications for Instant Reference
Every Rogue Flash Gel features clearly printed specifications including the color name and f/stop loss value - giving you the information you need at a glance, right in your hand.
Understanding F/Stop Loss
All lighting filters absorb some light as they modify color. The f/stop loss value tells you exactly how much light each gel absorbs, allowing you to compensate your exposure accordingly.
Our printed f/stop values aren't estimates - they're measured in controlled tests using a professional light meter, comparing your bare flash output directly against the same flash with each Rogue Gel attached. This means you get accurate, real-world data for precise exposure control.
Incredibly Portable
At just 1 oz. for a complete 20-gel kit, your entire color collection slips comfortably into a shirt pocket. Professional grade lighting control that helps you travel light.
Compatible with Other Round Flash Systems
Rogue Flash Gels are specifically designed to work seamlessly with round flash heads and Rogue's magnetic modifier system. The gels capture securely between any similarly sized stackable magnetic modifiers—no adhesive, no clips, no tape. Simply stack your magnetic modifiers with the gel sandwiched between them for instant color control. Change colors as quickly as you can swap a modifier, keeping you shooting instead of setting up.
Rogue Round Flash Gels have a maximum diameter of 71.5mm that work with multiple round flashes including Godox, Flashpoint, Geekoto, Neewer, and Westcott FJ80 (version 1 only).
