Being a photographer includes a list of things that you can do and will do, including, unfortunately, "Murphy's Law". In short, what can go wrong, will go wrong. But not to fear! With the right tools, attitude, and skill set, we as photographers can get past those hurdles, climb those mountains, and capture some great images. Utilizing three speedlights gives you a great deal of flexibility for creating a wide range of lighting patterns. You can light the hair, light the face, light the background, use gels and many other combinations for your three lights.

If there's one thing to know about building a strong portrait portfolio, it's knowing how to capture a great head shot.
